Expanded Loop System (first winter 2022)
Structure of chord loop expansion based on Patricia Taxxon’s video essay theory.
This system is used for compositional purposes, especially in situations in which harmony must be lengthened, developed, or staticized. Creates a non-progressive/functional harmonic sequence.
Utilized in pieces such as birth cycle, something else, aerotropism.
